With their dark, Jack White/Rage Against the Machine-like sound, rowdy live stage presence and black coverall uniforms, Black Paint quickly broke into the Toronto Scene a few years ago, playing many famous venues and festivals including NXNE and Sound of Music. They recently had their debut television appearance broadcast on CityTV, have opened for bands such as Big Wreck and Holywatr, and have worked with producer Brian Moncarz (Alice Cooper, Our Lady Peace). With a debut album set to release later this year, Black Paint is just getting started.
